As my link building client, you’ll soon have a site racing towards the first page of Google.

Here’s the best part: my search engine optimization pricing costs about 1/10 of what a typical “SEO Guru” would cost you…

My Backlinking Strategy Explained

Want to know exactly what I do to build links? Check out this post where I explain how I got one of my niche sites onto page one in just 30 days for a site that now earns me about $100/month on auto-pilot.

Link Building Tips

If you are new to link building, or you don’t regularly study SEO, you will want to watch this video before you place your order(s). In the video, you are going to learn about something called “partial match anchor text”. Since Panda, the game has changed (and it will continue to change) and as a result, the way you build links needs to change as well.  Watch the video and you’ll see what I mean.

As you can see from the above video, its very important that you don’t use just your targeted keyword for your anchor text. What this means is that you should use multiple campaigns for each site/page that you are trying to rank and that you should make use of partial match anchor text in each of these different campaigns.

I recently purchased (from Fiverr.com) 6,600 forum profiles and it made one of my niche sites (3 months old) pushed back from #12 to #39 in Google. Then I got sandboxed.

I’m not sure if it’s cause it’s a newer site or that thousands of backlinks at once will definitely hurt your chances at getting to #1 in Google. What do you think Trent?

    • Based upon my experience, I would definitely be very cautious with forum profile links. They are very spammy; especially since Panda (it seems). A few months ago I bought 10,000 forum profiles for one top camera site and it got slapped immediately. It was out of the top 100 for about 6 or 7 weeks and is not back in #4 after I continued to build links with article marketing (the one I sell here is the same one I use).

      • David says:

6 to 7 WEEKS??? That’s crazy! Did you continue backlinking while it was sandboxed? Or did you wait until it came out to start BL’ing again? Thanks for the info. Sometimes we have to learn the hard way.

        • BL’d the entire time.

        • Michael says:

Yeah – I made the mistake of trying to get traffic from Fiverr onto my website as well. Needless to say it didn’t help my site at all. If anything it did damage within Google SERP. Oh well. Learned my lesson from it.

          • Vasco says:

I did a srapebox blast for 12000 backlinks through Fiverr for one on my “throwaway” sites just to see what happens. It’s been a couple of weeks and it’s still there. Got a few clicks out of it, but i guess it’s still early to tell.
In the hindsight-not worth it playing with fire, especially if you have a decent project on the line.

          • I agree completely. I don’t mess with my work horses in any risky way. That is what the mulligan sites are for :)

    • Like your paramedic site. How’s it doing for you? Got many more like it?

      • David says:

Thanks! It was my first niche site. It’s done really well for me. Since getting that to #1 in Google I’ve started 4 different ones. The paramedic site itself took me 5 months to get to #1. Did it all on my own w/o spending more than the domain and hosting. But now I can start reinvesting all of that income to other sites and services. It’s been a fun ride so far.

    • aldo says:

Thats was a big mistake there. you should use those backlinks in just some cases.

For example the base case for using profile backlinks is to backlinks your backlinks.

Normally you should build unique content from high page rank pages direct to your money site and then buy some backlink profiles for give some jews to your backlinks.

  2. aldo says:

David very nice done. How many pages do you have on that site.

    Which service did you used?

    Hi Trent,

I’m reinvesting some of my online income into a Local Mobile Marketing Business here in Brasil. Time is valuable so I was wondering if you could send me an DM with pricing for Keyword Research Service.

  4. aldo says:

My service consists on researching keywords for EMD for Adsense Sites.

Normally the parameters I use for my keywords are:

Min $1 CPC (0.90 CPC is the keyword is easy and worth it) Remember that CPC value could grow or decrease.

Min 1k Exact Match Local Searches.

The top 10 have Low backlinks and also not exact title (I use some of the with exact title but I make sure they are very easy to beat).

Only one customer will have the keyword.

Nice amount of Ads on the top 10.

This are the main details I use for.
    ——————————————————————————————————————————————–
Every Client I have are buying more than 10 keywords from me every week. So this is good signal that they are ranking well and making money from Adsense.

My Research doesn’t limit to this but this is my main service.
After Having keywords like this, the next step is easy (finding someone who have experience writing Unique content with good SEO on Each Page)

If anyone have questions don’t hesitate on asking me.

    Thanks Trent for the opportunity!

    • Dear readers,

Prior to publishing Aldo’s comment, I asked him to send me some examples of his work. He did just that and the 3 keywords he sent me are all pretty good…not uber-fantastic…but pretty good Adsense keywords. At this point, I cannot say that I’m a raving fan, however, for newbies who don’t yet know what they are doing, this is probably a pretty viable approach to get you started with a few sites.

    • Vasco says:

Aldo, do we contact you through your blog?

  5. kelli says:

Gosh, I have a friend who’s got his money maker site being sand boxed by Google. He’s very frustrated really. So we better watch out and shouldn’t be on plain site of Google Panda.

    • If you build enough sites and build enough links, eventually, you are going to get the experience of being sandboxed. Thankfully, at least for me, its never proven to be permanent, and so its not really a big deal…unless of course it was your only site and you derived all your income from it!

  6. Adjia says:

    Trent,
Can I please ask a question regarding your link building service – namely your link wheels.
I notice you do the broken or open link wheels. I have picked up from somewhere else a model which is completely closed, all sites linking together without open gaps. What is the difference between these models and which is better?
    very confused…

    • I don’t think anyone outside of Google’s inner circle can say which is better. I just happen to believe that “broken” looks more “natural” and my results thus far confirm that my approach works.

  7. Young says:

    Hi Trent,

Can you provide what type of competition keywords you can rank on the first page with your service or how many actual indexed links that your service provides?

    Thanks and awesome blog.

    Young

    • The choice of the keyword is up to you. As far as the number of links, it will be in the hundreds.

      Cheers,
      Trent

      • Young says:

        Hi Trent,

Sorry, I meant. How many campaigns would be required to rank for a keyword:

        4400 searches
        Pr 2 – 3 sites
maybe 100 – 200 backlinks for top sites

        Thanks for your help.

        Young

        • That isn’t enough information for me to give you a solid answer. For example; are the links your competitor has PR0 or PR5? It can make a huge difference. Assuming they are all PR1 or less, then one or two campaigns (plus a link wheel) should do it. That said, if the main competition are all aged domains with 100′s of pages of content, you might never rank. I guess my point is this: answering your question accurately is virtually impossible without all the specifics.

          Trent

  8. RayS says:

Very interesting information, thanks Trent. I enjoy your reading you blog. I always like trying methods that others have used to get there sites ranked. I’m really curious why my test niche site has not had comparable results. It is 1 year old domain. This all took place over the last 2 months.

Build a link wheel with 5 web 2.0 sites
submitted 8 UAW articles linking to site
submitted 5 UAW articles linking to link wheel

Each UAW article supposedly went out to at least 200 sites

I should have at least 1000 links to my site after all that.

As of today I have only 100 backlinks pointing to the site according to majestic SEO and the site is ranked 90th.

yes, 8 of 10 of the competitors are old sites with a lot of pages. one pr 4 site and the rest are lower. There is also a pr 0 adsense site at number 9 though with 98 back links. Most of the big sites have no back links to the page.

All my links to my site are exact match anchor text.

it has 6600 exact match searches a month
    it has 586,000 competing pages

Do I have a dud here or what? Do you think any of your services would help? I’m just not sure what to do with it?

  9. RayS says:

I emailed you the keyword and my domain. Thanks for your help, I appreciate it.

    Ray

  10. bo says:

Rays. Mix up your anchor text. You mentioned that all of them are your exact match anchor.

Not the best thing to do. Didn’t you watch the video? Lol.
